Where: Outside the San Diego Convention Center
When: Today (July 14, 2008)
The occasion: Republican presidential candidate John McCain's speech to the National Council of La Raza, a Latino group meeting at the convention center.
The players: Above are supporters of the Minuteman Project, below are some people who don't agree with the Minutemen. I won't get into the argument here; there's no shortage of information about the immigration debate on the Web.
A sentiment we can all get behind: I'm not talking about the platform either of the Minutemen or their opponents. I'm talking about the T-shirt of the guy on the left in the top photo. Opposing chocolate? Now *that* would be anti-American.
