The Occasional Odd Thought

I am the luckiest man in the world today, and not for the reasons you'd assume. Oh, sure, I have an amazing wife, a job I enjoy, and a dog who is reasonably easy to live with. But those aren't the reasons I'm thinking of right now.
What I'm thinking of right now is this thing that happened the other day. Cezanne and I went to the dog park, and when I took her to the car, my hands were pretty full. It took me a minute to get everything loaded up, and then off we went.
About a mile and several turns from home, it hit me. I said a bad word, stopped the car as smoothly as I could, got out — and grabbed my camera from the roof, where I'd lain it as I loaded the car.
And that, friends, is why I am the luckiest man in the world today.

Soy el hombre con la más suerte en todo el mundo ahora mismo, pero no por las razones obvias. Claro, tengo una esposa maravillosa, un trabajo que me gusta, y una perrita quien es bastante tolerable. Pero esos no son las razones en los que estoy pensando ya.
Lo que estoy pensando ya es lo que pasó hace pocos días. Cezanne y yo fuimos al parque para los perros, y cuando salimos de la casa, mis manos estaban cargadas con varias cosas. La perrita y las cosas metió en el carro, y salimos.
Acerca de una milla de la casa, recordé algo muy importante. Dije una palabra mala, detuve el carro — y tomé mi camara del techo, en donde helo puesto mientras que cargué el carro.
Y eso, mis amigos, es el porqué soy el hombre con la más suerte en todo el mundo ahora mismo.
