Where: Grass Valley, California
When: Dec. 28, 2007
An unfamiliar substance: We spent Christmas with Dani's folks in Northern California's Gold Rush country. The weather there is somewhat different from what we're used to in San Diego.
It started snowing the night before we left. When we got up the next morning, the ground was white. We had a plane to catch, so we didn't want to dawdle. This photo in the hotel parking lot was the only one I had time to shoot.
It's no prize winner, but I shot a picture of snow, and God knows how long it'll be before I do that again, so here it is.
