Where: Sixth and University, Hillcrest, San Diego
When: Yesterday (Aug. 10, 2007)
Notes: A few people (I saw four) got together on the corner Friday night to wave signs and promote the impeachment of President Bush. The man in the sunglasses took exception to their protest.
The two sides had a reasoned discussion, which mostly involved the man in the sunglasses screaming obscenities while flipping the bird and the demonstrators holding up their signs as if they were shields.
It never got physical, but for a minute there, I thought it might.
Also, evening was coming on, so the light was really nice.
There's more: There's a series of photos from this confrontation on my Flickr site.
