Who and what: Barry Bonds hits a Clay Hensley pitch into the left-field seats for his 755th career home run, tying Henry Aaron for the all-time major league record.

Where: Petco Park, San Diego

When: Tonight (Aug. 4, 2007)

Notes: I call your attention to a couple of things about this photo: 1. The woman guy wearing the asterisk T-shirt (saying with a single punctuation mark, "Barry, I think you're a cheat") in the upper left-hand corner. 2. All the cameras, including the one in the hands of Ms. Mr. Asterisk.

Flash bulbs went off all over the park whenever Bonds came to the plate. A lot of people are probably wondering right now why their photos are so dark. No, your flash won't illuminate home plate if you're sitting in the 14th row, much less in the second deck.

By the way, the Padres won the game on a run-scoring single by Khalil Greene in the 12th inning.
